Dodge Journey is one of the top-selling 5-door mid-sized crossover SUVs, designed on the Chrysler JC platform.

First Generation (2007-Present)
The first generation Dodge Journey was unveiled in 2007 at Frankfurt Motor Show and sales kicked off from final season of 2007. It was slightly redesigned in 2009.
The Journey model is closely related to Dodge Avenger, and Chrysler Sebring.
The new Dodge Journey comes powered by standard DOHC I-4 version that delivers 173 hp at 6000 rpm and torque of 166 lb ft at 4000 rpm. The other engine options include a 3.5 liter DOHC V6 model that generates 235 hp of power at 6400 rpm and 232 lb ft of torque at 4000 rpm.
The standard transmission to the engine is 4-speed automatic, while 6-speed automatic transmission is optionally available.
Gas Mileage
With the powerful engine equipped, it can achieve fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon in the city premises and 25 miles per gallon on the highway roads.
As far as the exterior dimensions are concerned, it has wheel-base of 113.8 inches, length of 192.4 inches, width of 61.8 inches and height of 66.6 inches. Apart from wider exteriors, it also offers roomy interiors as well.
