The all new Dodge Journey 2011 arrives with some significant changes and modifications.
A more powerful 3.6 liter V6 engine with tuned suspension and steering is added.
Engine, Trims and Transmission
The trims available with the latest edition of Journey are Express, Mainstreet, R/T, Crew and Lux.

The basic model, Express comes with a 2.4 liter DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine with 16 variable valves. The engine realizes a horsepower of 173 hp @ 6000 rpm and produces a torque of 166 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm. The vehicle comes with front wheel drive and has a turning circle of 38.5 ft. The engine is coupled to a 4-speed shiftable automatic transmission.
Exterior and Interior
On the outside we see steel wheels of 16 by 6.5 inches and P225/70R16 all season tires. The other exterior offerings include a variable intermittent wiper, a roof rack and a rear defogger. Journey has undergone noticeable changes on the interior front too. It receives a completely revamped interior made up with high quality materials. The model also sees addition of a new touchscreen interface.
Fuel Economy and Pricing
The mid-size SUV offers an EPA of 19 mpg on city streets and 25 mpg on highways. The MSRP of Journey Express is $22,245.
