Upgrades for New Dodge Journey
Upgrades for the new 2011 edition of Journey include modifications to the interior, grille, lower front fascia, and Dodge’s new logo.
A more powerful 3.6-L V6 engine, new touch screen interface, retuned suspension, and revised steering are some of the significant upgrades for 2011 Journey edition.
Engine Specs
The entry-level Express trim is powered by a 2.4-L 4-cylinder engine good for delivering 173 hp and torsion of about 166 lb-ft. A 4-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is front-wheel drive.
All other Journey models are equipped with a 3.6-L V6 engine that pumps out 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It drives the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.

The estimated EPA fuel economy of Dodge Journey Express is 19 mpg in city, 25 mpg on hwy, and resulting combined mileage of 21 mpg.
The fuel economy of 3.6-L V6 engine is 16 mpg in city and 24 mph on highways with all-wheel drive and 17/25 mpg with front-wheel drive.
